I have a 1990 UMM Alter 2.5 naturally aspirated. I need to know how to identify the transfer case, my driveshaft broke off and took a piece of the transfer case along with it. Please help!!! Thank you

    Hi,

The transfer case is unique to UMM. If the case is not repairable, you will need to ask around in the UMM forums for anyone who has a spare. I bought one last year to replace my broken one. They are hard to find. Alternatively, you can get one from Portugal, from UMMonline4x4 or Pecas Umm. They both are happy to ship. Price may be high though.

Transfer case for a 4 speed gearbox. The only difference is the input shaft splines, otherwise they are identical I.e common cases for all the Alter models. Part numbers are embossed on the cases.

I have got this one for sale.
